What exactly wait for us after the end of our physical life? This is a question made by many of us when facing the unknown that awaits us, feeding our terror of death.

There are people who do not dare mentioning the word, as if pronouncing it would attract the fact to them or to their beloved ones. But that does not avoid death.

The fear of death is pretty much related to the fact that most people do not realize that the real, spiritual life is beyond the physical, material life.

Even if some of us still have doubts, it is a certainty. Dr. Raymond Moody Jr, resident at the Medical School at the University of Virginia, in the United States, has a large experience on this matter.

With many books published, he recounts many cases of patients who had Nearly Death Experiences.

That is, people who had serious health problems, who almost died but came back to life, recalling what happened to them during that time.

Even if some people believe such experiences to be just hallucinations, it is not possible that after coming back into their bodies, after an apparent death, such people recollect facts, situations, many times possible to be confirmed.

Recently, Dr. Moody started analyzing cases of children who have had Nearly Death Experiences.

Because he says, if the adult had enough time to be influenced and moulded by their life experiences and religious beliefs, children are not deeply influenced by their cultural environment, and for them this is still a fresh experience.

This is the case of a seven-year girl who, while crossing a deep frozen river, fell down and hit her head. She fainted and remained unconscious for about twelve hours.

During this period, the doctors could not tell if she was going to survive or not.

The girl saw herself in a beautiful garden, full of flowers that looked like giant dahlias.

She looked around and saw a being. She felt loved and warmed up by its presence. It was a wonderful sensation, as she had never felt before.

The being then said: You are going back. And she replied: Yes.

 He then asked why she wanted to go back into her physical body and she answered: Because my mother needs me.

After that, she felt as she was walking through a tunnel. She woke up in a bed, stood up and said: Hi, mum.

This experience is evidence that life after death exists.

We will remain living like that, because the Spirit is immortal and it will keep coming back, many times still, until its complete depuration.

When children recount their Nearly Death Experiences, a surprising number of them see themselves in spiritual adult bodies.

This fact is leading psychiatric, psychology and psychoanalysis members to the conclusion that men are not just physical beings living spiritual experiences, but we are actually spiritual beings connected to a physical body for a period of time.
