Have you ever thought about getting a letter from God?

If God wrote you, what would He have to say to you?

Maybe the letter would start like this:

How are you this morning?

I observed and waited, thinking you would speak to Me even if it were just a few words, to know My opinion about something, or maybe to thank Me for something that happened to you yesterday.

However, I noticed you were too busy trying to find the clothes that suited you best to go to work.

Therefore, I waited. When you ran around the house, ready to leave, I was there. It would take you just a few minutes to say hello, but you were far too busy.

You realized you had a few moments to spare, so you spent them sitting on a chair doing nothing, just waiting.

Then, you stood up quickly and I thought you wanted to speak to Me, but you ran to the telephone and called a friend to tell him the latest news.

I saw you when you went to work, and I patiently waited for the whole day. With all your activities, I assumed you would be too busy to say something to Me.

I noticed that before lunchtime, while you were waiting for your meal, you looked around, but it was not the right moment still. Maybe you were a bit too shy to speak to Me in public.

I noticed when you observed some of your friends saying their prayers before having their meals, but you did not have the courage.

All right! The day had not finished yet and I still hoped you were going to speak to Me.

You went home and it seemed like you had a lot of things to do. After doing some of them, you sat in front of the TV and spent a long time there, enjoying yourself.

I waited patiently while you had dinner, and still you did not talk to Me!

Finally, it was time to go to bed. It was time to get some sleep...

I thought that at that moment, you were going to remember Me, at least to thank Me for the day that had just finished, but you probably were far too tired for that.

You said good night to your family, went to bed and fell asleep very quickly.

All right, maybe you do not know I am always next to you.

Nevertheless, I am very patient. Much more than you can imagine. I wish to teach you how to be patient with other people and how to be good.

I love you so much that everyday I wait for a signal, a simple gesture, a short prayer, a thankful thought...

You know, My son, it is very hard to keep a conversation alone, a monologue. The best thing is to have a dialogue, but unfortunately you do not think about Me.

Well, tomorrow you will wake up for one more day. Once more, I will be waiting, maybe in vain, but with a lot of love, whishing you will be able to give Me some attention, a bit of your time.

However, if the slightest thing caught your attention on this letter, remember that you should at least be grateful to God because you are alive.

Because you are breathing at this very moment, because you are healthy, and you can hear, talk, walk...

At least, thank God because He has allowed you to exist.
