You know that there will certainly be plagues, weeds, and times of drought or excessive rain. But if you are determined to having a beautiful garden, you will never quit, regardless the difficulties.

Loving is a similar process. There is also a need for dedication, caring and waiting.

Therefore, if you want to cultivate the flowers of affection, you need to dedicate yourself. Love your partner; accepting, valuing, respecting and giving affection and tenderness - admire and comprehend your partner...

Love is a principle of life. If love did not exist, nothing would make sense.

Therefore let us meditate about what we do and do not have, about who we are and who we are not. Let us consider what we do and do not do, reassured that without the presence of love in what we have and do and in what we are, we would be extremely poor, needy and lifeless.

Intelligence without love makes us perverse.

Justice without love makes us insensitive and vindictive.

Diplomacy without love makes us hypocrites.

Success without love makes us arrogant.

Wealth without love makes us greedy.

Poverty without love makes us proud.

Beauty without love makes us ridiculous.

Authority without love makes us tyrants.

Work without love makes us slaves.

Simplicity without love devalues us.

Prayer without love turns us into cold beings.

Law without love imprisons us.

Politics without love turns us into selfish creatures.

Faith without love turns us into fanatics.

The cross without love becomes a torture.

Life without love... Well, without love life does not make sense at all...

The massive waves splashing on the shore show God’s love raising on the sea, as well as the transparent string of singing waters, which kisses the rock surface, celebrates God’s love, spurting smoothly through a single crack.

The beast that roars in the jungle, as well as the stars that spin on the vast sky, praise the divine love while talking about this chain that unites beings and the things from God’s home.

Both the child that happily smiles and the one who cries on her mother’s lap or in a hospital bed equally reflect love spreading out hope, presenting opportunities to the spirits, as a God’s gift.

Both the wise man, through the knowledge that fortifies his brain, and the man who is ennobled by working for the good, through the light that manates from their intimacy, carry God’s love within their hearts, inspiring life.

This and other facets of love are what make life meaningful.
