What truly makes us happy? If someone asks us this question or if we ask it to our heart what would the answer be?

Shall we think if the car that we have makes us completely happy. And our house has the capability to make us fully happy?

Let’s think about our material goods, expensive clothes, bank account, luxury… Does this things make us happy?

Several researchers always find very similar conclusions when they study what causes our happiness.

Our happiness is not built with a salary raise, with winning the lottery, with an expensive good that we can buy.

Even if we could change our lifestyle that our paycheck doubles or triples, is not a synonym to a true happiness.   

We adapt to this new lifestyle very quickly to a new pattern of buying that at the beginning looked like happiness but becomes common and daily.

However many of us trick our selves thinking that happiness can only be found if we buy things and show the others what we have.

We imagine that happiness will only be found in what is hard to get, in the rare object, in the expensive product that one day we dream of having.

But true happiness is humble and simple.

If we don’t have it is because we make life complicated and in this way we can’t understand and learn how to seek happiness.

The coins that buy happiness are only those that we can save in the heart’s safe.

Is not unusual to find happy looks and full hearts in humble homes or in socioeconomic deprivation places.

It’s not rare to see that the fortune and the huge amount of material goods can cause imbalance and pain.

So, if we wish for happiness we should invest in the right treasure.

Let’s analyze what’s the quality of the coins we save on our pockets.

We should realize what values we are saving in our intimate safes.  

They will always be those that will trace our fate to happiness or to unhappiness.

We are not talking about the happiness that we imagine that exist in the social life or in the success of the magazines covers.

By not maintain themselves and not fill completely the soul, they are breve moments that just pass by.

However, if we keep our conscience quiet, the serene look, a straight spine of good conduct, we will certainly enjoy happiness.   

Even when we have a disease, when we are under the storm of our lives. or even by the absence of the gone loves we realize that the values saved on our heart are our treasures.   

Any gold coin, any big financial achievement, way less a big bank account.  

Independent of what we have, being happy is the simple result of how we act and of what we achieved for our heart.

Happiness is born by the simple equation of the good that we lead to our life, before ourselves, before our next and before God.
