And he used to do this every night with his little daughter: he sat on the couch, he accommodated her in his lap, put one of her little arms under his – fitting her closely and then both used to say farewell to the day with a prayer and a song.
That was a fascinating moment. To fall asleep in the arms of someone you love, someone you trust, is one of the most wonderful things in life…
It is wonderful because it bonds. It is wonderful because it represents the victory of good in Earth.
It was the child’s deep gaze that made the father even more amazed, because from the moment they intertwine, their eyes - did not lose track of each other anymore.
Deep down in the soul... She looks at me deep down in my soul. – He used to say.
And that was the last image of the day that she would take: her father’s eyes.
And he used to think:
What a responsibility I have... And so does my gaze.
What a responsibility being the last image seen by someone, before dreaming.
I am the picture she takes to the world of her dreams.
I am the picture she takes from life when she gets into the world for a new reincarnation.
If my eyes are afflicted, she takes affliction. If my eyes are worried, unquiet, she will take apprehension.
But, if my eyes reveal joy, hope, she will take them with her.
If my eyes reveal gratefulness to God, she may learn to be grateful. If she finds fear in there, insecurity, maybe she will not feel capable to face the world and might quit.
If she finds in my eyes my truth, my emotion, she will certainly wish to expose hers, certain of herself, without shame of expressing what she feels.
Still... If she sees herself, what a kind mirror I can become! Reflecting carefully what needs to change. Reflecting with strength the light that already exists in there.
What an honor to be “gaze” and at the same time “mirror”.
The life trough my eyes... What life would it be?
If I wish to be a “good gaze”, a good one to look at, what can I do to improve myself?
Yes, because all I want for her is to send a secure gaze, one of those that are not afraid of the dark, or if they still fear, they are not afraid of letting them show.
In the parents eyes new views of the world are being build!

Parents on the Earth! Take care of your eyes, of your examples, of your words.
Remember that an interest and needy gaze of a loved child will always follow you.
What a responsibility I have... And so does my gaze.
What a responsibility being the last image seen by someone, before dreaming.
I am the picture she takes to the world of her dreams.
I am the picture she takes from life when she gets into the world for a new reincarnation.

The daughter used to fall asleep in the father’s arms. The father used to rest from the struggles in the daughter’s arms. And both were immensely happy.
