ícone The river

The river flows towards the sea. During its short journey, it gains speed, up to the moment in which it faces some curves that make it reduce the impetus of finding the great ocean.

When it goes through these obstacles of nature, it finds large rocks in its bed that tear the surface and alter the course and the natural rhythm.

Thus, between barriers and setbacks, it follows its path with only one certainty: it will find the sea, gaining the freedom and joy sturdiness.

The life of us all is pretty much the same as the course of a river.

We are constantly drawing plans, looking for an ocean of dreams and achievements, in the personal or professional side.

Many times we face obstacles that prevent us from following the plan as we had initially planned.

It is the moment when life shows us that we need to work, in ourselves, many virtues, among them the faith, the resignation and patience.

Keep alive the belief that we are able to achieve our goals, despite all the curves and rocks we find in our way makes us strong enough to continue.

There are no borders for those who know what they wish and have the persistence to seek.

If the deviations in the trajectory bring us pain and sadness, let us believe that, later, the much desired happiness will be achieved.

Let us not stick to these fleeting sorrows. Let us understand that they are part of the walk, towards the final goal.

As well as the rocks modify the course and the speed of the rivers, it may be that the mishaps of our path leave scars on us and make us wait more time to achieve our deepest dreams.

But, when we exercise patience and load to make sure that the final goals will be achieved, these scars are no longer of importance. They will only tell a story.

The door of real happiness requires sacrifices. It is precisely these fights which will lead the soul to the immense happiness.

To go through that door, simply keep firm the will and do not weaken when facing the struggles, believing that we are sustained by Divine love.

Jesus has proposed courage and good cheer before everything that we suffer. The hopelessness and despair at the critical moments indicate slope to defeat.

In front of every difficulty that might appear to us, let us work to overcome it with joy.

Before every pain that reaches us, let us realize our effort to overcome it, keeping the flame of hope of better times ahead.

If we have to suffer and cry, let us do it confident that God cares for us and that one day, our dramas will be solved, if we persevere in the happy action of being good until the end.

With no doubts, Jesus is the one who came to teach us to remove the good and useful side of all suffering that is imposed on us.
