A child's hug should be prescribed by doctors.
There's a power of cure in a hug that we do not know.
A hug heals hate. A hug heals resentment. It heals tiredness. It heals sadness.
When we give a hug we moor lines. We lose, for a moment, the things that have made us lose the calm, peace, the soul...
When we give a hug we low the defenses and allow others to get closer to our heart. The arms get wide open and the hearts get cozy in a unique way.
And there is nothing better than a child's hug...
A hug of I love you. A hug of I'm glad you are here. A hug of Help me.
A teddy bear hug. A hug of See you soon. A hug of I miss you!
When we give a hug, the happiness visits us for a few seconds and we have no will to let it go.
When we give a hug we are more than two, we are family, we are plans, we are possible dreams.
And a child's hug should be, for sure, prescribed by doctors because it rejuvenates soul and body.
Some studies already show, clearly, the benefits of the expressions of affection for the immune system, for the treatment of depression and other health problems.
A hug is no longer just a mere expression of cordiality or convention, it became a vehicle of peace and symbol of a new era of approximation.
If the high technology - not well exploited - has departed us, it is the hug that will get us together again.
We need to give more hugs. Family hugs, group hugs, funny hugs, free hugs.
The grotesque faces fall down, the smiles remain. The gloom disappears, remain the will to live.
The tight hug takes us off the floor for a moment. We leave the floor of the concerns, the ground floor of disbelief, the ground of pessimism.
It is possible to love again, sow again. It is possible to be reborn.
And the hugs make us be reborn. We close the eyes and when we open them back again we can be other people, living other life, choosing other paths.
There is nothing better than a hug to start the day. There is nothing better than a Good night hug.
And, yes, a child's hug should be prescribed by doctors, several times a day, in homeopathic doses.
But, if we do not resist to such orientation, there is nothing that prevents us from some single doses between these first, in emergency situations.
A long hug, watered by the rains of the eyes, of catharsis, of sadness or of relief.
A hug with no time to end, with no fear, no constraint.
It is a valuable medicine, of magnificent collateral effects to the growing soul.

But, what if the arms we wish to embrace are far away? Or they are no longer here? What should we do?
Let us learn to embrace with the thought.
The thought and the will create other arms and our loves feel embraced by us in the same way.
They are forces that we still only know a little about and will surprise us when we have understood them better.
They are hugs invisible to naked eyes, but very present and comforters for the senses of the immortal Spirit, that we all are.
