ícone A world in transition

The year of 2011 has been marked for many disasters. It is as we observed a great uprising of the natural elements, looking for its own place.

The tragedy in the mountain region of Rio de Janeiro, changing whole cities and buildings into an ocean of mud and rocks, killing countless lives, has shaken Brazilian people.

But, yet not recovered from these facts that have motivated gestures of solidarity from various locations, the earthquakes in Japan almost lead us to terror.

More than scenes of disaster movies, the television images have impressed us when showing the sea rising in enormous billows and swallowing everything.

Destruction in seconds of what took the man a long time to build. Beautiful buildings, whole cities, pleasant places, all swept away, crushed.

Cars and machines dragged away as toys by the inclement current.

And lives, how many lives cut short. Countless vanished. And, later, it keeps the tsunami in its journey, threatening other countries that stand in alert.

And to say that we have all received the New Year with lots of hope. And we live the Third Millennium in longing for a new time.

How can we understand such destruction?

Let´s appeal to the Gospel of Jesus. He did not fool us at any time.

He had spoken of a disappearing world for the emergence of another. Spoke of pain and desolation, of bitter times: Pray that your flight will not take place in winter. The grief of this time will be as big as there has not been the same since the world began to date and how there will never be.

And unless those days should be shortened, no man should be saved. But for those elect´s sake those days shall be shortened.

Truly, truly, I say to you that you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice. You will grieve, but your grief will be turned into joy.

Whenever a woman is in labor she has pain, because her hour has come; but when she gives birth to the child, she no longer remembers the anguish because the joy that a child has been born into the world.

Therefore you too have grief now; but I will see you again, and your heart will rejoice, and no one will take your joy away from you.

Jesus predicted the end times for a world of pains in transition to another where goodness will prevail.

Then, what we observe today and what takes us to solidarity, to help so many victims, is the achievement of those times announced.

Much pain will happen in the world for the great renovation to come.

Many will return to the Spiritual World, many others will return, renewed Spirits to promote the great moral transformation of the planet.

The physical world also suffers the transformations and that is the reason why it shakes, alter landscapes and change elevations.

Everything is a death rattle. But, as Jesus said Himself, after the great grieves, it will come the times of abundance.

Help each other as the pain abuse us and wait for the new dawn of a new world.

Lord is in the tail.
