In a shallow appraisal of world events, it might seem that injustices prevail.

However, the cosmic order is perfect and nobody can cheat its impositions.

It can not be denied that men make mistakes, in their imperfection.

Sometimes they use their freedom in unfortunate ways, causing pain to their neighbor.

But absolutely nobody can escape from facing the consequences of all his actions.

Dignified actions are converted in blessings and lights.

Challenges overcome with courage and dignity, open doors to richer stages of immortal existence.

The same happens to mistakes, only under a different connotation.

Everything one makes, says and thinks has consequences.

The influence one exerts on the world entails the future.

Who encourages addiction, sows pain or dilapidates life's treasures, prepares days of anguish for himself.

Contrary to popular belief, the purpose of Divine Law is not to punish.

Its goal is to educate, correct and lead those in fault towards reparation.

Pain, as a result of error, is an attribute of those who deny correcting their deeds.

That does not mean that reparation, even though not necessarily painful, is an easy thing.

It all depends on how severe are the ramifications of what has been done.

Let us imagine that one person leads another one to develop an addiction or adopt a frivolous behavior.

The former attaches himself to the reflections of his irresponsible actions.

The later may have a more fragile moral countenance and get into serious complications.

He might destroy the harmony of his family and his own health.

The one who leads another to a precipice will have to help him on the way back.

So it is good advice to pay attention on the influence we exert over our fellows.

We can never precisely measure the full impact of our acts, examples and words over the others.

Who becomes an instrument for evil is throwing something towards the future.

The only way to stop it from returning as affliction, is to be quickly decided for reparation.

Once aware of our mistakes, we must bravely face the consequences.

Noble measures, oriented to reestablishment of harmony, are the love that will cover a multitude of sins, as stated in the Gospels.

Having in mind the perfection of the cosmic order, there is no reason to suffer anguish over apparent injustices in the world.

It is certainly convenient to act for their amelioration and for the gradual extinction of evil.

However, that can be done with serenity and trust in God.

In the end, if each one is free to do what he wishes, the Law watches over everybody.
