ícone Fraternal love II

King Solomon was considered one of the wisest Jewish kings. During his reign, two brothers used to live in Zion. They were farmers and used to plant wheat.

When harvest time came, they went to harvest the wheat from their own fields.

One night, the oldest brother collected several sheaves of his wheat and took it to his younger brother's field, thinking:

My brother has 7 children. He has many mouths to feed. It is fair that I give him part of what I got.

However, the younger brother also went to the field, collected several sheaves of his own wheat, took it to his older brother's field, saying to himself:

My brother is alone; there is no one to help him with the harvest. It is fair that I divide part of my wheat with him.

When they woke up by the morning and went to the fields, they were both astonished for finding exactly the same amount of wheat of the day before.

Next night, both repeated the same kind gesture with the other.

Again they woke up and found their stocks unchanged.

It was only on the third night that they crossed each other in the middle of the way, each one carrying part of the harvest to the other.

They hugged each other tight; shed tears of happiness for the goodwill that united them.

The legend says that King Solomon, after learning about this example of fraternal love, had the Temple of Israel built in that place.

Fraternal love is one of the exercises to reach the real essence of true love.

Those of us born to the same family, as brothers in blood, very often are Spirits that knew each other in other existences.

This is what explains the links of affection that unite us. Although there are cases of siblings who hate each other, sometimes getting to the point of destroying each other, so many others love and help one another.

It is noticeable by their attitudes that they were born to help each other and reach altruistic objectives.

It is touching to observe how God places people in positions to exercise love.

We can remember a family whose son has a disease that since his early age did not allow him to carry a normal life.

He needs constant support, as he cannot even have his meals alone.

The extremely dedicated younger brother is always ready to help. I can help you, are his most frequent words.

Fraternal love. Happy are those who take the opportunity of exercising love and establish eternal bridges from theirs to others' hearts.

Our families are planned before we are born.

In this planning, our previous contacts are considered.

This explains without a doubt, the sympathies and antipathies that since birth involve the members of the same family.
