You know, I used to leave things for tomorrow, but I have decided to tell you today how important you are, because when I woke up this morning a question came to my mind:

        What if there is no tomorrow?

        So today I want to stay a bit longer next to you, I want to hear your ideas with more attention,  to observe your most simple gesture, memorize the sound of your voice, the way you walk, the way you run, the way you embrace.

        Because… if there is no tomorrow…I want to know your favorite food, the music you like the most, the color that suits you best…

        Today, I will observe your eyes, discover your desires, your yearnings, your most secret dreams and I will try to make them true.

        Because… if there is no tomorrow… I want to have your smile imprinted in my retina, as well as the way you are, your passions…

        Today, I want to pray next to you, find out the magic that brings so much serenity, I want to reach the sky with you, taken by the invisible strings of prayer.

        Today, I will sit with you on the soft grass, listen to the birds’ melody, feel the breeze caressing my face next to yours, in silence… with no hurry.

        Today, I will beg you, I will thank you, I will say sorry, I will ask for your forgiveness if necessary.

        You know, I always left these things for tomorrow, but tomorrow is just a promise ... Today is the present.

        Therefore, if there is no tomorrow, I want to find out today your favorite flower so that I can offer you a bunch of them.

        I want to learn your fears, hold you in my arms and give you confidence...

        Today, when you are about to leave me, I will hold your hands and ask you to stay a bit longer next to me.

        You know, I usually leave the tender words for tomorrow, the caresses for tomorrow, a lot of attention to be given tomorrow, but maybe tomorrow we will no longer be together.

        I know that many people suffer when a loving one takes the train of life and leaves without giving them the chance to express their feelings, and I also know that this is a reason for a lot of regret and pain.

        That is why I do not want to leave things to be said tomorrow, because if tomorrow comes and we are not together, you will know all my feelings for you and I will know all your feelings for me.

        Nothing will be left out

        I wish to register in my soul each one of your gestures.

        I wish to engrave your smile in my soul, so that if life pulls us apart, I will have you always with me, even if we are temporarily far from each other.

        You know, I am not sure tomorrow will arrive for us, but I know that today, today I can tell you how important you are to me.

        Be you my son, my daughter, my spouse, a friend perhaps, you will know today, how important you are to me...because if there is no tomorrow...

        Today is the moment of action, of sowing, of investing your emotional possibilities in favor of the ones who live with you.
