Many books have been written about the feeling of hate amongst people, families and communities. Romantic love stories, such as Romeo and Juliet, the tragic story between two rival families, became well-known through the centuries.

The cinematographic screen and soap operas animate in bright colours the dramas that hatred produces from generation to generation.

Since birth, children are given the information that they must dislike the ones that their parents or grandparents hate.

Even if we are living at of the XXI century, these facts do not happen only on screen, at the theatre or soap operas.

We can see that, on everyday life, there is a lot of hate being passed from father to son.

Therefore, it is not strange that there have been always wars, misunderstandings and conflicts amongst people as, like everything else, this feeling of hate may also come from the cradle.

Since the womb the Spirit that animates the body of a baby can be suffocated with the emanations of hate that the family have, especially if this feeling comes from the parents.

It would be much more dignified of us, the ones that call ourselves christians, that if we were not able to forgive something, not to pass such problem to our kids. If the problem is ours, we should try to solve it ourselves and do not pass it to others. Even because the reason for our hate will probably vanish with time.

Sometimes the ones that hate do not even remember exactly why they feel this way. And they excuse themselves saying that the reasons are far too seroius, that it belongs to a time before theirs, or that it is a family matter.

Recently, we could observe a case that really touched us. A young man from a wealthy family got married to a poor girl from an unknown family.

Feeling deeply displeased, the mother of the man deserted him, that so he was left to build his own life.

He based his family values on honesty and work and passed such principles to his daughter. He died very young, and left his wife with very little to depend upon. She did not feel intimidated, worked hard and educated their daughter.

One day, the grandmother looked for them, wanting to see the girl. She was afraid that the daughter-in-law had put her granddaughter against her. She was really surprised when, as soon as the eight-year-old girl saw the grandmother, hugged her and said:

Grandma, it is so good to see you! I always wanted to meet you. My mum always says what a good person you are, just like my father.

For years, the mother had given the little girl a lesson of love. She was conscious that the matters her husband and she had should not be followed by their child.

The love lesson commoved the old grandmother who, after the visit, went back home thinking about her own attitude.

Did you know?

…that parents are responsible for the Spirit of their children? Thus, if the children fail because of parent’s fault, they will have to account for it with God.

And did you know that parenthood is one of the biggest missions that God trusted to humankind?

Therefore, it is worth to put all efforts necessary to deserve The Creator’s trust.
