In the glorious morning of that Sunday, pious women, who had observed that the body of Jesus, hastily removed of the cross, before the initiation of the Jewish Sabbath, had not been properly prepared for burial, went to the grave.

They were not aware that an ostentatious guard had been set outside, at the request of the priests of the Temple and at the behest of Pilate. And they did not even considered how they would remove the big rock which was closing the grave.

Simply, willing to the task and began to walk. In the way, Joana de Cusa, Salome, mother of apostles James and John, stopped in the city, to acquire fragrances and linen bands, in order to offer to the body of the Master, the worthy tributes.

Mary Magdalene went ahead. Before selling her villa and dismissing her servants, including the perfumers she had at her disposal, she saved precious essences, which she took with her to the new life.

Now, she brought them to the convenient preparation of the body of the beloved Master. There were ointments and perfumes, as the habit demanded.

Arriving at the location of the burial, she sees that the rock was removed, the grave empty. Out crying, trying to understand what could have happened: Did someone remove the body? Did someone steal it? What for? And where has it been deposited?

Seeing a man, on his back, imagining being the gardener, who took care of the wild roses and the location, she asks him: Where did they take the body of my Lord?

He turns. It is all light, tangible and alive. It is him! It is Jesus!

She throws herself to His direction, with open arms. She wants to hug Him and drown in that blessed bosom the sadness of the last hours and the immense longing that oppresses her heart.

He stops her: You must not touch me, I have not yet gone to my Father.

Radiant with happiness, she returns to town to deliver the news of the glorious resurrection.

Jesus lives! I saw Him!

With the exception of Mary, mother of Jesus, present among the disciples, in the upper room, the others remained unconvinced. Peter and John go to the grave, in order to establish the veracity of the news.

They would see Him and talk with Him the disciples, on their way to Emmaus, leaving Jerusalem.

And, in the following days, His people received the visit, between surprise and admiration. He had returned from the country of death, beating the feared beldam.

Dead, buried, risen. And His identification, as He had done in the Well of Jacob, to the Samaritan woman, would be repeated in many occasions:

It is me.

It is me, Jesus of Nazareth, who was raised in the wood of infamy.

It is me,the Christ, who represents the response of the Father to the children suffering in the planet.

It is me, the one who turned the cross of martyrdom into a dash of light, connecting the heaven of the Spiritual favors to the Earth suffered of men.

It is me, as He had expressed so many times, in His messianato: I am the Path, which leads to the Father. I am the Truth, which liberates and the authentic Life. The light of the world.

I am the king of life, which conquered dead. I am the Lord of spirits. Hear me. It is me.
