ícone Intuition

When Danny found that little baby dark-skinned, with about one day, wrapped in a huge black sweatshirt, on the floor, behind the turnstile, at the subway of New York City, he called the police.

The Family Court took custody of the baby and Danny started repeating the story many and many times for the local TV channels, friends, relatives, acquaintances.

Three months later, he went to the Family Court to give his testimony on the precious finding.

Suddenly, the judge asked him: Would you be interested in adopting this child?

The question surprised him, amazed really, but, without batting an eye lid he answered: Yes, but I know it is not easy.

Right there, the judge gave orders to make him a future father. He had never considered being a father and, moreover, his financial situation was not good. He lived in an apartment with Peter and, to help in the rent, they had leased a part of the living room to another person.

Danny was a respected social worker, however, badly paid. Peter worked as a typist.

While the documentation was going through, they went to visit the baby in his temporary home. And they both fell in love with that little thing so delicate, so dependent on.

The social worker, who attended them, said that the steps for the adoption could take around nine months. At that time, they could rearrange the house and life, in order to receive the baby.

It was December and one week later, the same judge asked them if they would like to have the baby for Christmas. Facing their positive answer, she smiled and ordered the transfer of the baby to their custody.

The preparation of the home that should happen in nine months, did not take more than thirty-six hours.

At the last court hearing, when the judge signed the document of adoption, Peter asked to speak. He had a question that was haunting him.

Would that be possible that the judge knew that Danny was a social worker and thought he would be a good father? Why, after all, had she allowed them to adopt that baby?

And, finally, he asked: Your Honor, I would like to know why you asked Danny if he was interested in adoption.

I had an intuition. - She answered. Was I wrong?

Twelve years later, the baby became a smiling boy and the parents, happy, grateful to the woman who changed and enriched their lives.

The boy wanted to know the judge who bestowed him to those wonderful parents. And he asked:

Do you remember me?

How would I not, she said. The story was in her memory and she was interested in asking little Kevin about school, his favorite hobbies and friends.

Intuition: how many of us could be happier and bring happiness to others, if we followed our good intuitions.

Our guard angel as much as the good Spirits that serve the Humanity, at the behest of God, are always ready.

But, they need men to listen to the voices that they transmit and that are registered under the name of intuition or inspiration.

Let us be vigilant and listen to the good ideas that are suggested to us by these guardians of good and let us become, on Earth, men of action, contributing to the better world of the Third Millennium.
