ícone Renewed life

Have you already heard the story of the woman who gathered her family together to give the news that she would die soon?

She said that she had gone to dozens of medical consultations, held many exams, as medical requests and, finally, received the diagnosis.

She was carrier of an incurable disease and her maximum time of life would be four months.

The family reacted badly, surprised that she gave that terrible news, with such tranquility.

But, the lady said she would have one hundred and twenty days to do everything she wanted.

She would tide up her closets, giving away everything that could fit someone and would throw out what was unhelpful. She would keep the strictly necessary for her use.

She would replace the curtains of the windows. They would stop her from snooping into the lives of others.

She would draw the dust of the house, daily and would keep thinking that she should get rid of all the dirt that she had kept from the past.

She would feed her soul with healthy reading and mild conversations. Would avoid criticizing the people and the world.

She would forgive all the people who had hurt her.

Would be grateful to God for her life, every morning and would do, at least, one good action every day.

Thus, when she departs for another life, she would have, at least, one hundred and twenty good actions.

Death is, for sure, the most certain thing in life. Nobody escape from it. It can take long to arrive, but it will come the day in which the person will abandon the physical body.

We can fear it or act as the lady of our story: proposing yourself to do something useful and good.

And it is quite possible that we get surprised with the improvement of the quality of our personal life.

It is true: when we begin to think and acting in the good, we change our psychic structure and, consequently, the joy, the well-being become part of our hours.

And if you want to know what happened to the lady in the story, believe: she lived for another twenty-three years.

Diagnostic error?

No! It was that she thought she was sentenced to death in a short time and decided to change this remainder of life that remained.

By transforming her inner world, by becoming a person totally different from who she was, she healed her soul.

Consequently, healed the physical disease.

Therefore, if the illness visits us, let us take the time for valuable reflections around the behavior and  reprogramming activities.

Let us consider the health and ardently wish, without impositions, without pressure, but with noble intention.

Let us get rid of all mental trash, which can intoxicate: unhappiness, hatred, jealousy, revenge, envy, bitterness.

Bind ourselves to God of which emanate from all forces and aspire the resources needed to restore our balance.

Let us fill our mind with thoughts of peace, of compassion, of solidarity, of forgiveness and of tenderness, involving ourselves, emotionally with life, in order to feel incorporated in it, aware and happy.

Confident, go forward, vitalized by the breathe of the source of life, our Father Creator.
