It is possible that you think that you could be more intelligent and get angry with your personal limitations and with the necessary efforts to study, learn and move forward.

But maybe you have never thought about those who are reborn with profound limitations in the area of intellect, disconnected from their own mind, immersed in this or that physical sequel, in lives of redemption and atonement. Perhaps these have difficulties greater than yours.

You have already thought that you could have a body more harmonious, more elegant and consistent with the standards of beauty that are imposed.

But, perhaps you have never thought about those who bring deformations, mutilations, limitations in the organic garment, with difficulties to walk, speak, hear or see. These would really like to have a body exactly like yours.

You have already thought that you could have more money, live in a larger house, have a fashion car or travel to distant countries.

But, perhaps you have never thought about those who live in the charity of others, without the option of a decent job to sustain themselves, without the guarantee of a housing or daily feeding.

These, possibly, dream of having the house and the salary that you do.

You have already thought that your family is an enormous weight on your shoulders, that you would like to have children similar to those you see in other homes and have the ideal spouse like the other couples that you know.

But, perhaps you have never thought about those who live alone, without a family, without someone to say hi when they get home, to share their frustrations and their dreams, or to share the dining table.

It is possible that these dream every day about having a family like yours, problematic and hard to deal with, but at least they would have beings close to whom they could give their love, share their needs.

Many times we dream of another life, another body, other loved ones, other path.

We dream of what, childishly, we imagine would make us happy.

But, possibly, the beauty of the body would bring us the fiercely vanity.

The privileged intelligence would make us arrogant and pretentious.

The money in excess perhaps would lead us to addictions and imperiling behaviors.

And dismissing our family would be the path to the selfishness and the loneliness.

In this way, we realize that life is made of blessings, opportunities of learning. Everything around us is what God provides for better seize the opportunity of life.

And His designs are of wisdom and flawless love.

Thus, when we look at all that we have, our body, our financial condition, our capabilities and our family, let us thank God for all of this.

After all, from our existence, what really belongs to us is what we can save in the safe of the heart. Everything else is Divine loan so that we can ride the road to perfection.

They are loans that we can use in a conscious manner, extracting the best.
