It is a common scene nowadays: social and professional meetings, in which people are most part of the time connected to their mobile phones.

When they arrive to the places, they soon place their accessory on the table and from there, the attention is divided. It is an eye on the environment and the other on the device screen.

It seems like a magnetic power, because people are able to look more to them than to each other.

Being alone, the impression we have is that this device is capable of making the person company, replacing the physical presence of a friend.

When the simply worked as telephones they were not so invasive, but today their use is very enlarged. In the eagerness of keeping ourselves connected with the world, sometimes, we forget who is on our side.

We prioritized the needto receive an important news, send or receive some message or doing some research to clarify doubts.

They are the new social habits.

Unfortunately, they cut people in the middle. Half of the individual is present and the other half is connected to the device and to everything it provides.

We are awarethat all technological progress, when usedfor the well, brings joy and comfort to the humanity.

There are many features that this new technology makes it possible for us and giving them up is out of question.

The reflection is to use it in the most convenient way, with moderation and respect to those who surround us.

It is true that these devices, which are so easily within our reach, bring us necessary information. But, we must be careful so that they do not interferewith fundamental moments to relationships.

Be attentive to the way we have used these resources.

Let us never forget to valorize the company of anyone who is on our side, to look into the eyes during a dialogue, to listen to the other with attention, to be present and enjoy the moment in which we are living this or that situation.

Let us not give greater importance to these devices, in detriment of the attention we could offer to anyone who is close to us.

The moments pass and do not come back. All of them are important to strengthen the affective bonds that exist in relationships.

The messages, researches, information and everything else, many times, can wait.

Any process of reeducation is always more complicated than the pure and simple education, because it impliesin leaving behindingrained habits and replace them with others.

If we have already let us lead by these inappropriate habits, let us try to modify them.

In these times of advanced and cybernetic technologies, let us work in ourselves the ability to fully experience the personal relationships.

Let us seek to disconnect of what is distantfor valuing andtruly get connected to whom is here with us, now.

We must enjoy every minute with the loved ones, the affections. This is irreplaceable and may not be repeated.

Let us bear this is mind: the time is now, while they are with us.
