ícone If I had…

If I had spoken of the love that I felt, if I had forgiven, advised, if I had said nothing…

These are statements that are usually part of our thoughts in some moments of life.

Facing the loss of a loved one or the moment at which we know to be near our departure to the Spiritual Land, the feeling that we could have done much more, it is the cause of one of the greatest pains of the human being.

We believe that we could have been more careful in our relationships with friends and lovers, we could have given ourselves more to the next, made that dream come true… or we could have simply loved more.

Regretting for the good we have not done is painful.

It would be convenient if we lived life without the need to use, not for one day, one of these phrases, which show that something could have been done and that now we can no longer do it.

Many times we justify the abandonment of an objective because we do not have the conditions that we believe ideal to accomplish it.

We tell ourselves that we do not have enough money or time, the power or authority, that we do not have the courage or strength, that we are too old or too young or that we have lack of health.

These statements only show our discouragement when facing situations that life presents to us.

We easily put ourselves in the position to rely on something or someone else to act, when all action depends entirely on our own will.

We must have the courage and enthusiasm to do whatever we believe correct, to act according with what our own conscience guides us and to do whatever is needed in defense of our dreams.

Obstacles will always be found and personal difficulties we all haveour own because they are part of the evolutionarystage in which we find ourselves.

With courage, patience and discipline we will be able to overcome the difficulties.

When we keep connected to God, feeling Him in our intimate, any objective that we propose to achieve will not seem so distant and we will find the necessary strength.

It could be the realization of a great project or just a sincere request for forgiveness to someone we estimate, if we do not dare, we will end up forgetting our desire.

Facing the history of our lives, we look back and see how much we have already learned, how much we have grown.

And, if we notice that we have not made the best choices throughout our journey, that we badly use the freedom that God has given us to choose our own paths, let us not let the discouragement install.

There is always a good lesson to learn from the experienceswe lived.

It is time to walk with faith and enthusiasm in our heart. It is time to revive hope, to let the courage germinate and see that we are able to do this or that thing.

The courage compels us to act.

Let us live with the feeling that we have been doing the best we can to ensure that, one day, when it is time to leave, we do not need to say to ourselves: If I had…
