An old popular story says that once a humble peasant was taking care of his glebe, plowing the ground in a dawn of breathtaking beauty.

When he was approached by a well-dressed, wrapped in arrogance and pride individual who asked the humble peasant:

Peasant, do you believe in God?

Yes, sir, I believe in God. - He responded with simplicity.

So, added the convinced materialist, can you show me one place where God is? And he smiled sarcastically.

The simple man looked around as he leaned on the hoe. Then, with simplicity he said: Sir, I am not able to show a place where God is in this landscape of light.

However, - continued - I ask you Sir to show me one place where God is not.

Taken by surprise, the proud man turned away disconcerted.

And so it is with us. How many times, in light of things in our lives, are we unaware of God's gifts and of His works to sustain our needs in life?

Only sometimes we realize that even our bodies, which we believe to be the owners, is in fact God's, who lends it to us so that physical life is made possible for the purpose of our progress.

The children, the loved ones, the day-to-day learning lessons, everything is God's blessings that are offered by the loving Father concerned with the needs of His children.

God is everywhere, in all His work, from the symphony of the stars in the infinite space to the fast pace of the micro particles in the intimacy of the atom.

It is normal that in every period of Humanity people try to understand God and perceive Him according to their moral and intellectual development.

However, as we reach moral and intellectual achievements, our perceptions expand and so does the understanding of the Divine presence that involves everyone and everything under His blessings.

It will be this perception of the soul that will naturally lead us to praise and thank God for all He gives us.

At this point we will tune in with the Deity in order to ask for His help in the face of life's natural events, as well as to better integrate ourselves with the harmony of Creation.

Thus, we must seek to perceive God's presence in our lives. In the difficulties and in the most intense days, God will help and support us in our pain.

In the achievements and days of happiness and peace, God will be the company and the anchor, rejoicing with us for our victories.

To deepen our thinking about God and His blessings is a daily exercise that is up to each one of us.

Only then our attitude will be of a son in gratitude who understands that all things that come from the Father are always within our capabilities and needs.

In doing so, the riots or disbelief in God, fruits of spiritual immaturity, will never find shelter in the intimacy of our soul.
