ícone Our prejudices

Prejudice is the concept made based in an own judgment, that has derogatory tone. Derivate of biased analysis, discriminatory.

It is a pre-judgment, in which the details are unknown. We define something or someone, according to what our eyes see.

This has caused many troubles, in the world, and continues to cause. Those who judge previously do not care about holding the concept for themselves, but to transmit it to others.

And those who hear do not ask if that is true or not. They just admit it.

Whenever we know about someone who consorts with another person of large difference of age, the first questions that comes to our minds is: Why did they get married?

If one of two persons has fame, or money, or power, soon we theorize that the reason for the consortium is to take advantage of one of these items.

We forget that famous people, as all people, have affective needs. They search for love, they wish to be loved.

When old doctor Hahnemann, living in Germany, saved the life of Parisian Mélaine Gohier, he could hardly imagine that she would be the bridge for Homeopathy to become known around the world.

Yes, because that woman, being only thirty-five years old, got married with the German master who was eighty.

The new marriage of Hahnemann sounds like a fairytale. She was a poet and painter and used to enjoy the friendship of many other poets and painters in Paris.

Soon after their marriage, in 1835, they moved to Paris, where he obtained permission to practice medicine, despite vigorous opposition from their allopathic colleagues.

The Academy of Medicine sent a document to the Minister Guizot to forbidden him of practicing medicine in France.

Guizot, under the influence of Hahnemann´s wife, besides his dignified position, ended the case with unparalleled grandeur and answered:

He is a wise man of great merit. Science should be for everyone! If Homeopathy is a chimera or a system with no value, it will fall by itself.

If it is, rather, a progress, it will expand despite our prohibitive measures, and the Academy must remember, first of all, the mission is to make science advance, to encourage discoveries!

So, Homeopathy has been established in France, where Hahnemann found many disciples and followers.

He continued teaching, healing and writing, despite the advanced age.

At the age of eighty-eight, he returned to the spiritual world. He was strong and lucid, sure of being gotten to the end of his mission though.

He left Homeopathy recognized as a science, expanding to the world.

Who could, in good conscience, not thank Mélaine for her great work with the amazing master homeopath?

If she had not taken him to Paris, the light city, would the Homeopathy have been recognized and published through the world?

So, think before expressing concepts of prejudiced value. Seek review with eyes that see and learn to respect other person´s choice.

Let us learn to have compassionate eyes, eyes that discover the good. Eyes that see the positive things, with no wrong or hasty judgment.
