The known Sermon of the Mountain of Jesus is the greatest declaration of love that Humanity could ever have received, through the times.

The subject, the form, the structure of the Charter of good is perfect, flawless.

The peace-man, Mahatma Gandhi, once said that if they were lost all the sacred texts of mankind and it was only saved the Sermon of the Mountain, nothing would be lost.

That was a wise observation because, really, there it is the surest guide of conduct which has been reported.

Not only because of the nine Beatitudes that sing hope, showing a happy future to the hearts thirsty of orientation and consolation but, also, because of their attitude towards the old law, showing that it has had its time, its validity, it needed reform and improvement though. It needed to take the next step.

There are many guidelines, some are bland, and others are vigorous.

It is in the Sermon of the Mountain that Jesus says no one can hide a city on the hill, so calling us to shine the light that we have inside.

It is there that he talks about loving our enemies, something never considered or thought by anyone before. A revolutionary proposal that has unequaled beauty because of its intrinsic nuances.

It was from the top of that mountain that He taught us how to pray, first saying that the prayer must be done in our inner room.

Later guiding us to avoid excessive verbiage, making the act of talking to God a friendly conversation, devoid of pomposity or rites.

Finally recites the Our Father...

How can we forget that prayer, that script, that poem of light!

How many souls have already liberated themselves from their torment, in the wings of an Our Father, made with the heart! How many souls...

Then, He talks about the treasures of Heaven, showing that they are the only thing we take from here, the only truly real for our spiritual life.

Look at the birds on the sky... Do not sow or reap... And your heavenly Father feeds them.

What a comfort to the ones suffering of material life, to those who suffer from the lack of need to know that someone cares for them with love.

From the top of the mountain yet Jesus says: Ask and it shall be given. Seek and ye shall find. Knock and the door will open for you.

He has made us gods of the possibilities, achievements through a pulsating desire within.

Ends the poem in a majestic and didactic way:

Everyone who hears there words of mine and doeth them, shall be likened to a wise man who built his house upon the rock.

The rain fell, the floods came, the winds blew; rushed against that house, but it did not collapsed.

Building our house upon the rock is to get to practice the teachings of Christ in our daily lives.

It is useless to know the words, content, if they do not make us better men and women, if do not transform us into good people.

Building our house upon the rock is always asking: What it is the christian behavior in this circumstance?

In each decision, ask: Which decision takes me to do good things to my neighbor? What turns me into a beacon of light on the acres of the world today?

It is time to build that new home today, finally, on the rock.
