ícone Powerful vehicle

The word is a powerful vehicle that unequivocally reflects the moral level we are at.

By means of the word, good works are spread, and hope is lit up. One can strengthen the vacillating faith and support peace. It also serves to feed vice and delinquency.

In speaking, the teacher elevates his students'minds to heights of knowledge. Using the verb, the evildoer casts many into the pit of crime.

In talking, the mother educates the child, pointing out the paths of honor and duty.

Using the word, bad leaders lead people into bloody wars, allowing the open mouth of death to snatch out precious lives.

Good leaders, worried about his subordinates, his responsibility, prepare speeches for peace and strive to grant it.

Jesus spoke and the Gospel came up as the Glad Tidings everyone awaited, in suffering and discouragement.

Before Him, in order to prepare the ways, a voice rose from the wilderness to the banks of the Jordan, preaching a new time.

A time when the paths of the Lord would be flattened and men would be able to hear the sweet song of a Rabbi.

On hot afternoons, in the balmy evenings, Jesus has used the word to teach the truths of the Father which is in heaven, to manifest His gracious will and cure the unhealthy.

With His word, He saved from death by stoning a woman who was mistaken, forgetting her duties as a wife. And to another one, He offered living water that quenches the thirst for spiritual knowledge.

He has used the word and asked the Father for forgiveness for those who crucified Him, and with the faithful word He gave himself to God.

The apostle Paul, by the conscious, enlightening word, took the glad tidings of the Kingdom of God to many places.

He would let himself be ignited by the inspiration from heaven in such a way that his word would convert crowds. He would express himself so well and with such fervor that some would come to confuse him with God Himself.

Gandhi has used the word to call upon all of his brothers and sisters in India to join the same ideal. Martin Luther King Jr. spoke on behalf of peace, wishing that white and black people feel like brothers and sisters.

When civil war devastated the American soil, President Lincoln used the word of good cheer to raise the morale of soldiers overwhelmed by defeats and abandonment they believed to suffer.

Verb is always the manifestation of healthy or unwholesome intelligence. It is the basis of writing.

And, every time we use the word, we sow blessings or spread storms.

Thus, although darkness and hawthorns come up alongside us, let us govern emotion and always pronounce the instructive or reassuring word, which helps or sanctifies.

Even though provocation from evil tempts us into disorder, into condemning and hurting, let us bless life, wherever we are.

Let us learn to silence every destructive sentence, because every aggressive word is counterfeit treasure in the heart.

Three things come not back: the sped arrow, the spoken word and the lost opportunity. Once the word is pronounced, there is no way to make it come back.

Let us remember that once the word is spoken, it escapes from our control.

Let us think through before we speak, because even though we cannot make the word come back, we will be held accountable for it.
