ícone When I’m gone...

Tomorrow, when I'm gone, I want you to remember me as someone who loved you very much.

I wish you remember me as the person who waited months for you to flourish in the world.

And after seeing you little in need of much care had as many months of startles noting you fragility.

I want you to remember that you were much loved, since the announcement of your conception.

Born, you were loved by the beauty of your looks, the brightness of your eyes and the grace of every gesture of yours.

I wish you remember that I waited anxiously for your first words to be certain that you could master the words.

That I was thrilled with your every achievement.I was by your side when you were joining the letters and read your first sentence, and your first book.

That I picked you up at school on sunny and rainy days. And more than once, I walked with you in the rain, because you as a child loved walking in the rain.

I wish you remember the many times I took you to the park. I rolled with you on the grass. We went up and down the hills because you said you wanted to beat the mountain. And I never said that it was just a small hill.

I climbed mountains and crossed small trees playing forest exploration.

When I'm no longer on this side of life, remember that I was with you during the victories in school, the dancing, and the music.

Remember my applause, the tears of happiness, the smiles and hugs.

Remember the trips to the Library, the research done together, the search in books and on the Internet.

I hope you have everything in your memories. The chosen gifts, the tours, the cinema with popcorn, soda, snacks, and ice cream.

I hope above all that you remember our conversations and the comments about daily facts of life.

The excitement of concerts and how I introduced you to good music during a time when you were more concerned about loud sounds, noise and agitation.

And how you discovered classical music, the beauty of folk, regional, and international music and started to enjoy them in due time.

I hope you remember the moral values and examples I gave you, the dialogues with God about which I heartly and spontaneously explained to you so many times.

The prayers we did together during sleepless nights, the days of illness, and the times of joy.

Because I loved you very much, wherever I am I will continue to care for you. And that I wish you never forget.

The world can present you with difficulties; it can hurt your feelings. The desired success may not come. People may turn their backs on you.

But I will be watching over you because love does not fade with time or disappear when one moves from one world to another.

This is very important that you never forget: the feeling that never fades over time, age, or the most intense or deepest changes.

Finally, I hope you can remember me with equal affection and tenderness that I accompanied your during the years, the dreams, and the achievements.

Because wherever I am, it will do me very well to receive fragrant and silky flowers from you heart, saying that I live in your memory and the sweetness of your affection.
