ícone The swing

A swing, by the wind, swings slowly.

One cannot see the ground or the sky... Just a constant swing back... and forth...

Juliana is 13 and is happy as never before.

Stronger, daddy! - She says excitedly.

In that unforgettable moment, the scene fades away. It faded away during the joy of her being with the one she loves.

Her childish smile feels the light perfumed air.

Her years enjoy the calm voice of her loving father. She feels safe as she has never felt before.

The swing slows down and when it is about to stop she notices her father in front of her gaze.

How handsome he is... - she thinks. A special beauty that is rather in her heart than in the world's eyes.

Darling... You need to go back. - Says the man tenderly.

But I don't want to, Daddy... - She answers with a crystal voice.

I know my darling... but you need to go back.

She starts crying as the playing has ended too soon. She cries as she wanted to remain there.

The girl wakes up crying.

It was a dream! - She thinks. But it seemed so real...

She feels a strong pressure on her chest and doesn't know what it is.

You miss him... - says a low voice in her mind.

Yes, she misses her father, his love that was gone when she was only 3 years old.

She had dreamed of him several times, but this time it was unforgettable. It was so special, that from that day on, she started calling those dreams visits.

Every swing she sees activates her memory and accelerates her heart because it reminds her of a great loved one she had on Earth during a short time, but who still visits her constantly.

* * *

Where do those loved ones who are not amongst us anymore wander?

If we learn that love unites instead of separating, why believe in distance brought by death?

Yes, death does not separate us. It may cause a brief physical separation, but never the separation of souls.

Those who love us continue around us, and if they left before us, they almost always become anonymous and invisible partners in our daily lives.

They are the ones who often bring us the strength we need to carry on, the affection of the good advice and the loving reprimands too.

In spirit, they follow us, they pray and vibrate for us, in the same way that they would do if they were incarnated.

Death does not change love. Distance is not an impediment for affection.

They are closer than what we can imagine. And in this great come and go in our planet, soon we will be together once more.

We will be together there, because we will never know how much time we have left here. Let us remember that reincarnation is one of the greatest Laws of the Universe.
